Why Marriage?

Love is best displayed through continual pursuit. The best example we have of this is Jesus Christ. We are choosing to unify our lives through marriage as part of our continual pursuit of Jesus Christ. We believe marriage is a covenant designed to support one another in our callings to faith. Our desire for our marriage is to cultivate a life-long heart of servitude towards one another and those around us. As Jesus said in Matthew 22 “Love your God with all your heart and all your soul and will with all your mind. This is the first and greatest commandment. The second is like it to Love your neighbor as yourself”. As part of our desire to serve those we encounter, please consider donating as you feel to missions our local church is part of.

We are confident knowing our faith, hope, and love shall forever be sustained by Jesus Christ.

Kids Ministry

We have some incredible kids in our church. Each one has their own gifts and talents and are learning to use those to glorify the lord. These kids are our future and we want to establish biblical foundations in their lives. Our goal is to provide learning materials and different experiences that will further our kids knowledge and understanding of God and who He is. Your contribution will not only impact our current kids, but also their friends and friend’s families. Please consider donating to our kid’s ministry.

"No doubt about it: children are a gift from the LORD; the fruit of the womb is a divine reward. The children born when one is young are like arrows in the hand of a warrior." Psalms 127:3-4

Mission Trips

Our church Sandbox is full of faithful ordinary people willing to serve in extraordinary ways. The church is endeavoring to visit Uganda and South Africa in the summer of 2017. Missionaries will travel to a community center in Kamuli, Uganda that empowers the local community by providing education, life skills, medical treatment, and spiritual discipleship. Missionaries will travel to South Africa for the purpose to evangelize local communities by preaching the good news of Jesus Christ. Our church will travel to impact these places for a short moment, but will leave a lasting impact on those who we meet. Our hope is that our work continues through them. Please consider donating towards expenses for these trips.

"This is what the Lord commanded us: I have made you a light for the Gentiles, so that you could bring salvation to the end of the earth." Acts 13:47

Homeless Outreach

The sandbox family believes in local missions as well. Every day we pass by numerous individuals with physical needs of sustenance, clothing and shelter. We create small care packages containing tooth brushes, socks, band aids, water, wipes and more. We also hand write letters to for each care package offering words of encouragement. Each bag is prayed for in hopes that it will make a difference in someone’s life. As we drive around throughout the day we hope to have a moment with a homeless person. We hope to connect with meaningful conversations, share the love of Jesus, and bless them with a care package.

Please consider donating to our homeless outreach ministry.

"I was hungry and you gave me food to eat. I was thirsty and you gave me a drink. I was a stranger and you welcomed me. I was naked and you gave me clothes to wear. I was sick and you took care of me. I was in prison and you visited me." Matthew 25:35-36 CEB

Local Church Missions

The goal of our local church is to develop a community of healthy believers - believers who are solidly grounded in God through His Word and the work of the Holy Spirit. Believers who know how to feed themselves through God’s Word, operate in their supernatural gifting, and deeply care to develop those around them. We desire to care for and meet the needs for those within our own church. In addition, to maintain our community supplies are needed to keep our church operating. Please consider donating to our general church needs.

“The believers devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching, to the community, to their shared meals, and to their prayers. A sense of awe came over everyone. God performed many wonders and signs through the apostles. All the believers were united and shared everything. They would sell pieces of property and possessions and distribute the proceeds to everyone who needed them. Every day, they met together in the temple and ate in their homes. They shared food with gladness and simplicity. They praised God and demonstrated God’s goodness to everyone. The Lord added daily to the community those who were being saved.”

Acts 2:42-47
